Especially, through greater Concentration (Dharana) and Focused Concentration (Dhyana). After practicing Bandhas for several weeks, on and off the mat, Asana/Pranayama practice feels sadly incomplete. In this brief (so far) practice, I have already experienced some sense of what is meant here by the internalizing of the asana rather the external look of it: learning to feel/see it within as well as without.
